Question: Are you truly doing the things you know you should be doing in order to create a profitable blog?
Or do you find yourself procrastinating (“researching”) instead of ACTUALLY DOING the things?
If that’s you – I can totally relate…

5 Inspirational Audible Audiobooks To Help You Uncover Your Limiting Beliefs And Protective Strategies That Stop You From Achieving Your Goals
In order to move forward and create a successful online business, we all need to leave our cozy comfort zone, risk making mistakes and being judged by the rest of the world.
Even though we know this to be true in our analytical mind, our subconscious mind likes to play silly buggers, throws a fit like a 3-year-old and sabotages our endeavors with the ferocity of a cornered wildcat.
Why? Because it feels threatened by change.
Creating a profitable blog is a journey that requires you to spend some time really digging deep and analyzing the patterns you use to deal with uncomfortable situations.
Take me for an example: I’m a very introvert person who doesn’t like the spotlight. But I love learning and teaching. That puts me in a bit of a pickle.
I know there are certain things like going on video and creating products that I should be doing to move forward, but instead, I find myself writing yet another blog post…
Leaving your comfort zone sucks. It conjures a toxic cocktail of insecurities, anxieties, and self-doubt that can easily kill your chances of reaching your goals.
So how do we muster the strength and clarity to overcome these obstacles and climb to the next level?
We need to uncover and understand what holds us back and replace our limiting beliefs and strategies with new ones.
Easier said than done… How do we start?
Inspirational Audible Audiobooks
I’m aware how revoltingly cheesy that sounds… My goodness. Self-help or self-development books is THE ONE category of books that I’ve never ever touched before.
To me, that genre reeked of desperation, charlatanism, flower-power-bra-burning hippie mentality and self-proclaimed gurus who trick naive souls into spending money they don’t have on a bunch of nonsense…
Despite these prejudices, I found myself listening to my first inspirational audiobook from the self-help category last week.
How did that happen? Well, I stumbled across the Amazon Audible offer which includes 2 free audiobooks of your choice.
I saw it and curiosity got the better of me. I was like “Ok, I wouldn’t pay money for this because I probably won’t like it, BUT let’s at least see what the hype is all about.”
To be honest, I was a little shocked to find the first book seriously amazing…
So great indeed that I already shared it with four friends I think will gain helpful insights from it too…
Obviously, I’ll share it with you too – because I think you might love it as well. 🙂
Why Amazon Audible Audiobooks?
I usually prefer reading over listening, but boy, audiobooks are soooo handy!
- No feeling guilty about not finishing a book because you are too busy to sit down and read – just listen to your new book while you go for a run, sit in the bath, lie in bed, drive to work or iron the laundry. *no more excuses*
- If you are anything like me and have more books than shelf place to store them, audiobooks are your new best friends. You don’t even have to dust them. *ahem*
- Amazon offers a free 30-day Audible trial including 2 free audiobooks of your choice. You get to keep these books even if you decide to end your Audible membership after the free trial. *generous*
- You can send your favorite Audible audiobook to your friends who you know will love it too. They can redeem and download the first recommendation they receive for free, even if they don’t have a membership. *sharing is caring*
- In case you choose an Audible audiobook and discover you really don’t like it – you can return it and choose another one. No problem.
5 Inspirational Audible Audiobooks To Check Out Now
Ok, so which was the first book I listened to and absolutely loved? It’s the number one on my list of inspirational audiobooks to check out now:
Inspirational Audible Audiobook Nr 1: Jen Sincero | How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life
The title summarises the content pretty well. Jen’s style is effortless and down-to-earth. She doesn’t preach. She takes things with a grain of salt and tells her story in a way that’s as entertaining as enlightening. Loved it!
Inspirational Audible Audiobook Nr 2: Mel Robbins | Kick Ass with Mel Robbins
That’s the second book I’m listening to. In this audiobook, you get to listen to real life coaching sessions with Mel Robbins.
She picked a bunch of people with problems in different areas of their lives and helps them analyze what’s holding them back and how to move forward.
Listening to real people as they discover life-changing insights about their destructive behavior and identify ways to change is incredibly powerful and fascinating.
Food for thought, for sure.
Inspirational Audible Audiobook Nr 3: Charles Duhigg | The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business
That’s the next title on my Audible list. Somehow I seem to be drawn to yellow book covers… Not sure what’s up with that. LOL
Maybe it’s because the content is pure gold? Ok. That was cheesy. *cringe* Seriously though – why haven’t I discovered this book sooner?!
Things start to make so much more sense now!
Love the scientific approach and that it’s all backed up by research and science.
Learn how your habits shape your life and how you can transform yours to create winning habits that make success almost inevitable.
Whether you wanna quit smoking, lose weight, stop yelling at the kids, exercise more or create a business environment that fosters innovation and teamwork – creating the right habits is the key you’ve been looking for!
Inspirational Audible Audiobook Nr 4: Gabrielle Bernstein | The Universe Has Your Back: Transform Fear to Faith
If you are ready to trade fear, doubt, judgment for faith, trust, and love – this might be THE book for you. Easy and fun to listen to with lots of anecdotes to illustrate her points and practical advice on how to implement the strategies in your life.
Inspirational Audible Audiobook Nr 5: Jack Canfield, Janet Switzer | The Success Principles: How to Get from Where You Are to Where You Want to Be
I have to admit, the cover is not very appealing… Hello, sleazy salesman (no offense Jack, nothing personal). But you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. 😉 The Success Principles have helped thousands of people to get from “where they are to where they want to be”.
Jack is confident that his principles work. every. single. time. IF you commit 100% and follow them diligently, that is. And they do make a lot of sense to me – so I’m tempted to say he might be right. Seriously, if you need a wake-up call to stop moping and blaming everyone/the world/the circumstances for your misery and are ready to take responsibility and create a life you love – listen to the Success Principles!
Those are the first 5 inspirational audiobooks on my Audible listening list.
To my own utter surprise and disbelief, I found the first two books from this self-help book collection seriously inspiring to analyze my emotional and behavioral patterns.
Therefore I hope that you’ll find some gold nuggets in them too, to help you uncover what’s holding you back.
Remember, if you decide to go for the free 30-day Audible trial and choose one or two books off this list – only to discover you hate them, you can return them and listen to Harry Potter or whatever else you fancy instead.
So this is your risk-free chance to start your transformation! Are you keen? 🙂
